Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Assistant *Secretary to the M.D for their new premises on the Cambridge Science Park.
Main duties of the role: * Provide an effective and confidential Personal Assistant service to the Managing Director with minimal supervision. Undertake specific ad-hoc projects as required (e.g. cost analysis). * Manage diary of Managing Director, organise and schedule meetings, visits, travel etc. * Minute taking at Management meetings * Planning, administering and conduct of major events in liaison with other departmental assistants * Ensure Managing Director is kept informed of key issues and that the office functions efficiently during his absences. * Assistance with HR admin and adhoc company projects. * Document management of intellectual property in line with Company and legal requirements. * Provide administrative support to the Managing Director to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the management office and links to Management Team and Executive Board. * HR administration * Projects as required
Skills*Experience required: * Prioritising workload and meeting deadlines using own initiative. * Accuracy and confidentiality * Minimum of 5 years senior administrative experience * Excellent organisational skills and a professional approach. * Ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances and ensure that planned deadlines and budgets are met. * Developed computer skills (competent with common business software). Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet. * Discretion and ability to communicate with all levels of people. * Knowledge of German*French would be an advantage
Salary £18-20K
